greenmatch has developed considerably in recent years. From an application for the profitability calculation of renewable energy projects, a software has emerged that makes it possible to evaluate projects, manage them financially during operation and soon combine them into complex portfolios, irrespective of technology, project progress or country specifics (e.g. with regard to taxes). The latest developments have prompted us to rename the software areas according to their current key functionality.
The following sections have been renamed
Valuation becomes Projects
The heart of the greenmatch product range remains Valuation – newly named Projects – for the financial evaluation and structuring of renewable energy projects. Within Projects there is another, smaller innovation. From now on, you will find the project-specific data room under the 3-point project menu (to the left of Master Data):
Asset Controlling becomes Compare
The previous Asset Controlling will become Compare. It is expected that from 2023 all users, regardless of the licence they have purchased, will be able to access Compare and clearly compare different project versions with each other. You can manage your accounting data directly in Projects as usual. However, in order to improve usability, this area has now been placed next to the master data:
Portfolio keeps its name
Combine your SPVs into a portfolio and get a holistic overview of the financial performance of your portfolio. It is already possible to aggregate the planned figures of several projects. We are working intensively on something special in the Portfolio area. Be curious about our next development progress!
There has been another adjustment in terms of navigation. In order to simplify the general overview, the link to MyData has been moved to the 3-point submenu of the main navigation:
What will change for our clients?
All licences remain valid and the licence names also remain unchanged. Here again is an overview of the greenmatch product range with its current functionalities:
- GM Valuation Licence: Access to Projects (access to Compare from 2023)
- GM Asset Controlling Licence: Access to Projects and Compare, as well as the possibility to upload actual figures
- GM Portfolio Licence: Combine your SPVs into a portfolio
- GM Marketplace: Buy or sell projects
