Binningen - With a new and optimised organisational structure greenmatch is prepared for the future. In addition to the existing Members of the Board, Harald D. Zenke and Andres Huber are joining the Board of Directors. Moris Gabriel and Tobias Bitterli are now taking over the operational management as co-CEOs. As Chairman of the Board, Matthias Stettler will continue to focus on the long-term corporate strategy and strategic partnerships.
In the context of the new capital increase Andres Huber and Harald D. Zenke were appointed members of the Board of the Basel-based Fintech company. Both have extensive experience in banking and finance. With their broad network, they support the next growth phase of greenmatch.
Founded in summer 2013, greenmatch specialises in the financial modelling and valuation of renewable energies. After nearly three years of development, the web-based software was introduced to the market of project developers, investors, banks and consultants in 2016. Interested users can now register for free on www.greenmatch.ch and test the certified software for 30 days. With more than 750 registered users, sales have increased by more than 300% compared to the month of the previous year. Greenmatch's goal is to replace the prevailing, individual and knowledge-intensive spreadsheets in order to set a global valuation standard.
"The new structure and the clear separation between strategic and operative management will support the next growth phase in order to accelerate the course of success", says Matthias Stettler and adds: "In a next step we will publish specialist knowledge on project finance of renewable energies on our website in order to support the worldwide know-how transfer". In addition, the platform is constantly being supplemented by country and technology-specific templates, where partners of the greenmatch network will play an important role.
In addition to the existing board members Matthias Stettler (Chairman of the Board), Moris Gabriel and Jan Lüchinger, Andres Huber and Harald D. Zenke have joined the board of directors. Harald D. Zenke is an independent strategic adviser to clients in the financial sector and since 2017 Managing Director of North Channel Bank. During his more than 30-year career, Harald Zenke previously worked as CEO of KfW IPEX-Bank and Head of Corporate Finance at the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW). Andres Huber also has more than 30 years of experience in international banking and financial business for corporate clients. After having held a leading position for UBS (or formerly Schweizerischer Bankverein) in Basel, Zurich, Montreal, Paris and New York, he was in charge of the IPO of Cimex (now Acino) at the Euronext, Paris stock exchange as CFO. Today Andres Huber is engaged with his own investments in grow-ups as well as for multiple investments of Abalis Finance AG, anchor investor of greenmatch AG. Moris Gabriel and Tobias Bitterli take over the position of CEO. Both have been members of the management team since the founding and can now concentrate even better on the operational management.
